Keep water-based handwashing in the site plan.
Choose with the use in mind
A portable handwashing station gives users a separate place to wash with water. It can be planned alongside standard toilets, food-service areas or work zones. Tell us the expected use and whether a self-contained station or another arrangement is needed.
Make the location work
Ask about the actual station’s operation, fresh-water supply, wastewater handling, soap and drying supplies. A self-contained unit still needs attention during a busy rental. Confirm replenishment and service responsibilities before guests or workers arrive.
Confirm the full arrangement
Locate washing facilities where they are useful without creating a queue across the toilet entrance or a walkway. Discuss food-service requirements with the organizer or relevant authority; a general sanitation station is not automatically a substitute for a regulated food-preparation sink.
Leave room for changes
If your dates, site access or expected use change, discuss the arrangement before the next delivery or service visit. Keep the agreed contact details available to the person managing the site.
