Start with the connection, contents and servicing access.
Choose with the use in mind
Holding tanks can support suitable temporary facilities, but capacity alone does not determine compatibility. Explain the source of the waste, the equipment it connects to and the expected use. Confirm approved contents and fittings for the proposed tank.
Make the location work
A serviceable position is essential. Discuss a stable location, access for emptying and the route between the connected equipment and the tank. Keep the arrangement protected from vehicle traffic and do not improvise connections or discharges.
Confirm the full arrangement
Ask how monitoring, emptying and removal will work during the rental. Usage changes can affect the service plan. Final capacity, installation responsibility and any applicable requirements should be agreed before the equipment is put into use.
Leave room for changes
If your dates, site access or expected use change, discuss the arrangement before the next delivery or service visit. Keep the agreed contact details available to the person managing the site.
